Tracee Oles Beebe grew up in St. Helena, where she began riding horses at
age 7 at her family's property on Lodi Lane. Her first experiences were in
4H and riding in the vineyards along the Napa River. She competed in
hunter-jumpers and trained thoroughbreds as a teenager; in the years since
she has worked with horses in many styles of riding and training and at the
same time she competed successfully in many local and state championships.
Along with rescuing horses, teaching is her other passion and has dedicated
her life to teaching riding and horsemanship to riders of all ages and skill
levels.

In 2003, she and her partner Mark Beebe founded Sunrise Stables LLC at the
same ranch where she grew up in St. Helena. Sunrise Stables is a unique
riding school where complete horsemanship is emphasized---children and
adults spend as much time grooming and feeding and cleaning up after their
horses as they do riding in the arena and on the trails at the ranch. Tracee
and Mark and their son Drew live on the ranch, along with their dogs, cats,
and numerous other pets.

The Board of Directors of Sunrise Horse Rescue consists of Tracee Beebe,
Mark Beebe, Katrina Kay, and Lisa O'Connor.

Sunrise Horse Rescue was established as a 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation in
St. Helena in November 2007. Sunrise Horse Rescue is the only horse rescue
operation in the Napa Valley. The foundation's mission is to rescue abused
and neglected horses in Napa and Sonoma Counties as well as provide students
of all ages with life-enhancing skills derived from riding and horsemanship.
Sunrise Horse Rescue is the non-profit arm of Sunrise Stables, which was
founded 4 years ago by Tracee Oles Beebe. Sunrise Horse Rescue currently
shelters 10 rescued horses of a variety of breeds, ages and backgrounds.
Sunrise Horse Rescue welcomes donations and volunteer support. Sunrise Horse
Rescue is a California 501 (c)(3) non-profit, tax exempt organization, tax
ID 42-1746834.
