
Sunrise Horse Rescue participated in the first annual St. Helena
summer camp fair at the library on April 19
Freemark Abbey Winery in St. Helena has made a generous donation of $5,000 to Sunrise Horse Rescue, located around the corner from the winery. “We acknowledge the compassionate spirit of Sunrise Horse Rescue and are pleased to support their efforts to provide oversight and care to our equestrian friends,” said Ed Farver, General Manager of Freemark Abbey, in announcing the donation. “As proprietors of Freemark Abbey, Jess Jackson and Barbara Banke are pleased to extend their love of horses and support of the community to Sunrise Horse Rescue,” he added. The rich history of Freemark Abbey Winery dates back to the late 1800’s and is deeply intertwined with the story of the Napa Valley. Those who forged Freemark Abbey were citizens of Napa in the greatest sense—people who passionately believed in the land, in their craft, and in the community.
