Tex

Tex was a Quarter Horse gelding. He was an accomplished ranch, calf roping and rodeo horse; he had seen it all. After a lifetime of service to his owners he needed a quiet place for his retirement, which led him to Sunrise. He was a well-trained, polite, and sweet-natured guy. He was who we called on to be the steadying element for another herd member who needed reassurance and quiet companionship. He was an all-around great guy and will be missed by all.
