It's been a busy year at Sunrise. Let's catch up!

It’s been a big year at Sunrise Horse Rescue-from new herd friendships to community-events, and even farewells. This spring the rescue focused on companionship and care, quarantine protocols kept the herd healthy. We are holding both joy and loss, this year as we said goodbye to two beloved horses Spice and Adonis, we also welcomed five new rescues (including a pony and a mule!) into the fold. Our annual fundraiser, Harvest of Hope: The Giving Table, raised over $160,000-fueling essential veterinary care, feed and daily support for our herd. We’re also thrilled to share a major milestone: we hired an Executive Director! Welcome, Lisa Cannon.
