Visit Calistoga - Summer 2022 Kid Friendly Itinerary

Another fun side trip is a visit to Sunrise Horse Rescue, a nonprofit horse rescue and sanctuary located on Tubbs Lane, just outside the city. Children and adults in the community are involved in assisting the rehabilitation of rescued horses. Tours are available by appointment only by contacting Denise at denise@sunrisehorserescue.org. Tours generally happen at 9:30 or 11:00 am; the horses love visitors, and children have an amazing connection with the herd.
